Ballinasloe & District Pioneer Youth Club 2025/2026 Retreat Day will take place on Saturday 6th December from 10.30 am to 4 pm in The Clonfert Family Centre, Brackernagh, Ballinasloe.

Ice-breakers to support participants get to know one another

‘Growing in the love of Jesus’
– Kevin and Mairead’s first presentation and workshop

12 noon 
The Angelus prayer
– Followed by a short conversation on how this prayer speaks to us today.                 

12.10 pm
Short stretch break

12.15 pm
“Jesus Invites his friends to share a meal with him”
– A reflection on how table-fellowship supported the mission of Jesus.

1 pm
Lunch  (everyone to bring a pack lunch)
-Growing in our friendship with each other as we share a meal together

1.30 pm
Games Challenge
– Some interactive fun

13.45 pm
“Called to be Disciples of Jesus”
– A sharing on a modern day saint. St. Carlo Acutis

2.15 pm
  “How we hear the message of Jesus through the sacraments” 

2.45 pm
Mass Preparations and availability of Sacrament of Reconcilation

3.10 pm
Retreat Mass

Word of thanks and end of retreat

Retreat day can accommodate twenty-five young people (and 25 accompanying adults).

Cost

Suggested donation:  €10 per young person & €10 per accompanying adult.
Monies to be paid on the day.

* All participants must also bring a pack-lunch. *
